These serving spoons are made with a delicate design by a talented group of artisans in Southern Mexico. This group works exclusively with cocuite wood from the local region. They source tropical hardwood using sustainable practices and are committed to work that respects the environment, as the local livelihoods depend on it.
Every piece is coated with beeswax in order to encourage sheen and protect the wood. To keep these pieces shining and prevent cracking, do not wash them in the dishwasher or with bleach. Wash by hand in cool water only, with no harsh scrubbers or chemicals. You can polish with beeswax every once in a while to keep it looking new.
